
While the smartphone has become a popular platform for consuming video content, consumers are listening to music on their phones nearly as much and for twice as
long.
According to research from Parks Associates, 68% of smartphone owners listen to streaming music daily. That’s comparable to the 71% of consumers who watch short
video clips on their phones daily. But those who listen to music do so for nearly twice as long per day (45 minutes of music vs. 24 minutes for video).
