U.S. import prices fall 1.2% in December

Investing.com – U.S. import prices fell for the sixth straight month in December, as low oil prices weighed, official data showed on Thursday.


In a report, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said decreased by a seasonally adjusted 1.2% last month, compared to forecasts for a 1.4% drop. Import prices fell by 0.5% in November.
