Earlier this week, 20-year-old Star Wars fan Devin Tripp launched a Kickstarter campaign for an open-world Star Wars role-playing game, asking for $200,000 to make the project a reality. He said he was “not a very good programmer” and “an even worse artist,” according to Kotaku. Despite raising $18,000, the project never really had a shot at happening–for obvious reasons.

Now, Tripp has decided to cancel the crowdfunding campaign.
